Motion graphicsA reminiscence of the past digital world
Inspired by my childhood longing to understand the mysterious digital world (after I was first introduced to Windows98 at 4 years old), I tried to reinterpret the “Antique Interface” in 3D space using surreal materials and dynamics.
Eventually, I captured the [ Wintage ] world, which is both nostalgic and fascinating, as a space in another dimension. For this, I used depth and realistic materials to break the typical view towards the familiar operating system.

As an UI designer, during most of my work time, [ Wintage ] manifested my original ambitious design goal, or, the excitement when you’re confronted with a new tool and in nite possibilities.
